During my recent stay at Green View in Thekkady, I was captivated by the homely charm the place exudes. Nestled on the outskirts of the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, the serene environment was perfect for someone like me, passionate about nature and culture, to unwind and gather inspiration for my next documentary project. The highlight for me was the hospitality that embodied the spirit of 'Atithi Devo Bhava'. Mr Suresh, our host, was incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond to assist with local tours and transport, making us feel genuinely welcomed. The spacious room had a lovely balcony overlooking lush mango and avocado trees, and I could easily spend hours there birdwatching - a treat for both a photographer's eye and a filmmaker's imagination. Sharing a meal with my friends on the rooftop dining area, swaying in the hammocks, truly felt like a slice of paradise. Not to mention, the clean and tidy amenities, complete with free WiFi and a flat-screen TV, made our leisurely evenings exceptionally comfortable. If you're looking for an authentic and rejuvenating experience in Thekkady, I highly recommend Green View-it's a gem that beautifully combines comfort and genuine warmth.
